Hinterland is a family owned business, with a long tradition working and living with horses, from farming the remote hills of Southland and South Westland since the early 1900’s, to the modern competition scene of wider NZ.

Hinterland, the brand, is now in it's second decade, taking pride in providing products that not only work well in competition but with an up-to-date style and functionality which is second to none.  We listen to what riders want and we make products that fit and are comfortable for horses.

For many years, we have worked with top riders around NZ and the world, ensuring our products are exactly as they should be.  It's important to us to continue to keep up to date with the latest technologies and to continue to style with tradition and integrity.
